Early in his career, Preston developed a passion for data engineering and business analytics. Harnessing these interests, he began to take on a variety of internal roles developing custom workflow solutions and internal applications. These experiences became the catalyst for a unique career in IT. Prior to embarking on entrepreneurial pursuits, he worked as a data and solutions engineer for a major upstream oil and gas operator. In this role, he architected and executed data and business intelligence workflows across a variety of applications. Ever seeking to expand his skillset and technological proficiencies, Preston offers an increasingly full stack skill set within the technology industry, eventually leading him to step into full-time consulting where he serves in a variety of application development and project management roles.

Preston holds a BA in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A & M.
